Raffaella Molin has loved working with her hands for as long as she can remember – as a child her output was mud, which then developed into fashion design before she found stoneware. She describes her approach as a “mood thing”, letting her emotions of the day sway each piece. Her process is careful and controlled, starting with a tennis ball of black, textured clay which is hand-coiled, dried, bisque-fired and glazed.
