Under the Florentine Clouds. Italy, 2017.Frothy Tuscan clouds in quiet reflection over the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio (The Golden Bridge) in the heart of Florence, Italy.

When first capturing this photograph, I was simultaneously overcome with a sense of grandeur and impermanence. Ponte Vecchio is the ‘IT’ sightseeing point to memorialise by most tourists visiting Florence, yet here it was being literally overshadowed by a formation of breathtaking clouds that could easily be considered Tuscan landmarks in their own right.
