The grapes, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are hand-picked with maximum care and placed in bunches on wooden trays for 3 – 4 months to concentrate the colour, aroma and flavour. After fermentation is completed, the wine is aged in durmast oak barrels for at least 36 months to give the wine its distinctive spicy and delicate flavour. Aromas and flavours of dried cherries, tobacco and spices. A rich and intense wine with a very distinctive but soft mouthfeel. This wine will age gracefully for 20+ years.
